Welcome to Brian Patton’s Blog!
I am from Clintwood, Virginia – a small town in the Appalachian Mountains. Clintwood is the county seat of Dickenson County.
For my undergraduate degree, in Environmental Science, I attended Emory & Henry College. I graduated with a B.S. in 2001.
After undergraduate and a year off, I entered law school at Ohio Northern University, in Ada, Ohio, and graduated with a J.D. in 2004.
Ada is also a small town, about an hour’s drive northwest of Columbus and hour’s drive south of Toledo.
Currently, I am Chair of the Dickenson County Democratic Committee, working as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney in Russell County, the Treasurer of the Raising Kaine PAC, and spending the rest of my time volunteering for local and statewide political candidates.
