Three local newspapers - The Coalfield Progress, The Dickenson Star, and The Post - now have a new and improved website.
Check out the new www.coalfield.com.
I must say, I like the lighter background if nothing else.

It is a much friendlier site…easy to navigate…and “up to date” on it’s news articles ….the only minus was the fact the you have to register/login to read the stories in their entirety.
Yeah, I don’t care much for the register/login reguirement, but its still better than having to pay to see the articles (like some papers).
