Seriously, though, did you see the Jayski rumor that Harvick might take over the UPS 88 in 2007? I can’t see Harvick in a Ford, but I guess stranger things have happened.
I read that. I found that site, thanks to you, a long time back. I think Harvick will not achieve real sucess until he is a owner driver. I think he would thrive in that situation. Like his Bush and truck teams. What do you think? I guess what I am trying to say is, Harvick is a great team player..as long as he is captain.
BTW- I am listening to Alan Colmes radio webacst interviewing Glen Instapundit…Good stuff. Thought you would smile at that
I don’t know. He did really well in 2001 and 2003, when RCR had good equipment. In 2002, it was just bad luck. Since then, though, it seems like they have been lacking something with all their teams (other two cup cars). I think its engine related.
It seems odd to me, that if RCR had good cars, why good drivers like Jeff Burton, Robby Gordon, Jeff Green, Johnny Sauter, Dave Blaney, etc. would struggle like they did.
This year will be a good test, since it looks like their equipment is much better than last year. If Clint and Jeff both do well and Kevin continues to struggle, we will know its not a car issue.
“I would have to slap some “29″ decals on each side”
That is exactly what Darth Harvick needs. Practice all by himself.
Kilo: Harvick is already in a league by himself.
