Looks like a beautiful house, Brian! You're going to be one lucky man come summer when you can sit out on that big porch of yours and relax and enjoy your view of the world, like the lord of the realm.

Congratulations!

Congrats on the new house! Fixer-uppers will require a little paitence. My dad bought one in 1993 and it took about 10 years (and then some after Isabel came through) but now he has it the way he wants. Yes, I did get in on some of the action...that is why help is a great thing to have.

Thanks NovaDem.

Ha. I am not really sure what an "Arts and Crafts" style is, but its certainly old. I have not been able to figure out exactly when it was built, but it was around 1919.

Its going to be for me, if I can ever get it all fixed up. So far its been a slow process to fix up, but I think it will be worth the work.

I love those old cottages; is it "Arts and Crafts" style?

Is this for yourself or are you thinking of renting it out?
