Students dis Gonzales

Brian February 2nd, 2006

Alberto Gonzales got a lesson in free speech while speaking to law students at Georgetown yesterday.

At some point during his talk, several students got up and turned their backs to him.

Congrats to these students for exercising their constitutional rights, although for some odd reason I feel a little sorry for Gonzales.

I’m embarrassed today to be a graduate of Georgetown Law.

Chad, you should be embarrased to denounce that patriotic display of free speech consistent with the best traditions of Virginians such as Patrick “Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death” Henry, who knew that government is only on a sound footing when it is based on laws rather than men!
