Creigh Deeds for Senate

Brian December 21st, 2005

Over at RK, Rob put this up and I could not agree more.

Creigh has everything in place for a statewide run and a lot more experience than he had this time last year. George Allen has made it completely clear that he has no intentions of “just being in the Senate.” He has national aspirations and who could blame him? The people of Virginia, however, deserve a Senator that will commit to a full term and put Virginia before one’s self.

Now we just have to talk Creigh into it.

[…] st security clearance. I really hated to see Robb get beat by George Allen, but now I am hoping Creigh Deeds can take that seat from Allen.

Disagree with “t” on this one. Allen is not invincible, far from it. I think Creigh has a chance to beat him. I do think that Creigh is far too valuable a commodity to possibly lose to Allen, though. I support Webb for Senate, and would like to see Creigh again in 2009.
