Staff Sergeant Samuel Harding Patton

In honor of Memorial Day, I wanted to do something a little different and post a tribute to my grandfather, Samuel Harding Patton.
He served in WWII and received the Broze Star, a Purple Heart, and an Expert Infantryman Badge. He ultimately achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant.
Papaw Harding passed away July 16, 1996. We all miss him very much and will always remember him.
