Picasa 2

Brian January 29th, 2005

I know I am starting to sound like I work for Google or something, but this new Picasa 2 is too great not to mention. After having it installed for less than an hour, I started uninstalling my four or five other photo related programs.

Forget all the nice search and organization features it has. The photo editing feature makes it worth the download and installation. It seems like a “must have” for any digital camera user.

Do I sound impressed? If not, take my word for it - I am.

did you put the photo on the title bar and sidebar on with picasa? how? did you just copy the html code from the post and put it in your template?

    Hi there, xx Vc,

I actually had those photos on my blog prior to finding Picasa. The banner image was edited in Photoshop and the sidebar image has not been edited.

As for hosting images on your blog, I suppose you would use the “Hello” feature with Picasa.

    Hi Brian,
I have used Picasa for a long time. It was not free when I first got it. It is not a real powerful editing tool, but for me it is great. I downloaded Picasa 2 a week or so ago and I am very pleased. If you are looking for a good way to organize your pics, do some minor editing, Picasa 2 is the way to go. Loved the auto scan option when installed that will search for all pics on the ole puter..easy as pie. Google has improved it and made it free!! how they do that??? LOL
